Game Character Skin Design

On the bus ride to and from high school, I was very passionate for the mobile game Brawl Stars. With a whopping 30,000 trophies and almost all the characters collected at the time, I figured I could try to involve myself in this community more.

Brawl Stars hosts character design competitions every once in a while. To prepare, I had made a giant list of brawler concepts that I deemed "cool". Unfortunately, I did not win the competition; however, I still enjoyed training my brain to see more potential beyond original and "normal" designs. This was my mass-ideation.

I created different skin concepts by thinking of what the shape of each character looks like

I submitted Sandy's (the man in red) skin concept. Since the character is known for being sleepy and lazy all the time, I wanted to make him a hopeless romantic. I called him "Post-Prom Sandy". As for the dumpling and boba, I thought the original characters looked like those exact shapes:
